Finance Analyst

Based: Portbury, Bristol, (easy from the M4/M5, with free parking and flexible/hybrid working (2 days a week in the office)

Salary: to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits

They have new PE backers, that are supportive, encouraging, keen to invest in technology, change and growth, with the aim of seize the enormous potential that exists in their marketplace. Additionally, they have just agreed an exciting new commercial contract with its largest business partner and this role is newly created, responsible for the setting up and delivering of all intercompany reporting and relationship management. Once set up and established, the role will develop into a commercial analytical based role, seeking to identify commercial opportunity and to truly add values to both parties. The company is leading within a specialist and evolving sector, but, as a model, it includes stock holding, international logistics and sales, marketing, brand partnerships etc, all in high volume!

Responsibilities:

• Provision of quarterly reforecast to the partner business
• Provision of quarterly actuals reporting and reconciliation to partner business
• Key point of contact for fielding questions from partner business in respect of forecasts and actuals reporting
• Periodic commercial performance reporting (e.g. by business, by profit centre, by division and category)
• Work with Commercial teams to analyse opportunities for improvements in performance
• Facilitation and management of cash movement between our client and the partner business
• Co-ordination of quarterly marketing and capex forecasts
• Supporting business cases - and post investment review - for capex proposals
• Facilitation of annual external audit of partner financials
• Support FP&A team with quarterly reforecasts, annual budget and 3 year plan
• Communicating with PE investors regarding performance
• Ownership of relationship with Partner company’s Finance team
