Our client is the fastest growing, market leading, specialist in the delivery of Services within a fast-evolving market sector, across the UK and in Europe.

In support of their ambitious growth plans, they seek to appoint a Human Resources Director to join the main board of Directors, shaping, developing and growing the business. You will have proven experience of having devised and delivered an HR strategy in line with business requirements and adding demonstrable value.

The business specialises in delivering excellence in what they do. They are highly entrepreneurial and fast paced. The role will assist and drive the transition from small to medium/large size business, ensuring rigger and process exists yet without adding unnecessary levels of bureaucracy. You will undertake the delivery of the strategy whilst meeting the daily challenges of growth, both organic and through acquisition. Naturally, post acquisition integration will also play a part.

Experience of having shaped a company for an exit would also be of interest.

  • Acting as a people thought-leader, creating the HR vision through gaining buy-in from the wider business and backing this up with solid delivery of the people plan.
  • Partnering the business at a strategic level, identifying and delivering OD initiatives.
  • Understanding business objectives and aligning them to the HR strategy to support optimum business performance.
  • Managing the delivery of business as usual, including performance management, recruitment, L&D activities etc.
  • Managing, coaching and developing the HR team following a "best practice" commercial model
