Based: Somerset (relocation will be supported)

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 + pension,

The role will be broad - as Automation Engineer, the role will form an integral part of our automation group engaging with our customers to create concepts, design, commission and implement innovative manufacturing solutions for our customers. Whilst assuming responsibility for project delivery as well as the technical elements of a project, it is a varied role.

You should have proven experience in:

• Designing and creating engineering drawings for: Fabricated components, Machined metal components, Manufacturing jigs & fixtures, Bespoke equipment & automated assemblies
• Using GD&T, BS8888 & ISO2768
• PFMEA and PPAP processes.
• FEA to verify designs.

The role will be fully involved in all areas of the design, offering a unique opportunity for someone to learn from a highly experienced team and to become expert in the design and build of technically leading, bespoke automated solutions for the manufacturing & assembly of electric motors.
