Location: Malvern, UK (hybrid, 2 days (or less) in the office and the rest from home.

This is a new role, being appointed as part of the business of the Transformation Management Office (TMO) which will drive a major Global transformation Program.

The Program Planner Analyst will be to create, monitor, analyse project schedules, track risks and issues across the Business Transformation Program. Preparation of analytical dashboards and preparation of regular progress reports to be shared with the Program Director and Leadership Team.

You should be highly attentive to detail, adept at liaising effectively with exec level stakeholders and able to manage multiple, cross functional tasks at one time.

Accountabilities:

Working closely with the IT Program Lead, engaging with the Workstream leaders and Transformation Business Partner, the Planner Analyst will be accountable for:

  • Ensuring effective project plans are created for each approved project within the Program.
  • Maintain an accurate up to date portfolio of project plans
  • Developing and maintaining up to date progress analysis dashboard, using the program support tools.

The role will include:

  • Ensure the portfolio of individual projects remain in-line with the delivery schedule of the overall Legato Business Transformation Program.
  • Design, develop, and maintain individual project schedules, identifying major milestones, decision points, project life cycle and other project events within a Microsoft Project Online environment, identifying variances from original plan.
  • Analyse critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around, both at project and portfolio level, using scenario planning techniques within MS Project Online
  • Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.
  • Maintain overview of project risk register to ensure that risks are effectively being reviewed to minimise their impact on schedule, scope, and budget of projects
