QHSE & ESG Manager

Our client is a dynamic, highly commercial, rapidly expanding, market leading provider of a very worthwhile humanitarian service on the world stage. It is a VC-backed international operation with a growing nucleus of professional staff based at their Head Office, in Ross-on-Wye. The company and culture are quite unique, a blend of highly professional, profit focused capability with the reward of making a highly valuable contribution to society.

They now seek to appoint a capable and diligent QHSE and ESG Manager, reporting to the CFO, to take responsibility for maintaining compliance and accreditations, as well as proactively championing and improving the QHSE environment, whilst also taking the lead in the increasing ESG responsibilities and action.

Key responsibilities

  • To lead the QHSE and ESG activities of the business.
  • Todevelop,maintainandcontinuallyimprovethegroup’scompliancemanagementsystems,standard operatingprocedures(SOPs)andInternalManagement,ensuringthattheyremainnotonlycompliant with the latest ESG and HSEQ regulations and trends, but move in line with industry developments and remain fit for the future.
  • To ensure that the business is accredited to all required standards, manage the accreditation process and work with the business to ensure that the necessary standards are maintained and continually improved. Supporting the business with PQQs, Industry accreditations and customer questions.

Key requirements

  • Graduate membership of IOSH (Grad IOSH) or equivalent
  • ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001
