Our client is a Software house supplying an industry leading ERP solution into a large and rapidly growing sector. They are well established and have, through the ongoing addition of features and due to the targeted area of their customer base, enjoyed significant growth.

The software offers a unique, cloud based, end to end solution for their clients, front end, EPOS, ecommerce, stock management, analytics and full accounting capability. Due to a major acquisition by one of their largest customers, they’re about to undergo significant growth and, in support of this they seek to appoint another three Technical support professionals to the team.

The role:

Purpose

To diligently provide a link between the support and development teams. Offer quality control on new releases, managing and producing documentation, videos and reference guides.

To be involved in day-to-day management, definition and monitoring or all testing and test scripts including the roll out of tested items.

Reporting to the Development Manager

Key Accountabilities

• Organize & scheduling new system and other software releases, drawing up test plans, allocating and supervising time for those involved in testing process.
• Organizing & writing new system issue release notes
• Creating, executing and managing automated test scripts and processes
• Developing You Tube videos & reference guides
• Imparting knowledge to support team on new developments.
• Identifying & improving process around all matters related to QC and testing.
• Working with team to help develop specifications for software projects where required.
• Working with development to present new system features to the wider team and to participate in generation of support documentation.
• Working closely with the development & support teams
