Sales Support Administrator
Up to £22,000 depending on experience
Our client is a small, well-backed and fast-growing business, located in Derby, supplying specialist engineering services. The company is a well-established player in their sector, with a strong reputation for the highest quality workmanship, excellent customer service and innovation. It is this, combined with increasing market opportunity, that forms the basis of their, ongoing, strategy for growth.
They now seek to appoint a commercially minded, Sales Support Administrator to support the Account Manager in maintaining and developing excellent relationships with existing customers.
This is an exciting role, with the objective of ensuring clients are receiving a first-class service, managing accounts and enquiries, administering quotes and sales orders and assisting with any client queries. Our client has a long-established reputation and large client base and the scope of the work that our client is able to deliver is broad, offering a variety and breadth of technical solutions, all with highly commercial benefits to the customer.
You will be instrumental in managing the relationship with internal departments to ensure the customer’s requirements are being met, attending weekly meetings and managing customer contracts, as well as organising and attending industry social events
Experience in mechanical engineering and an interest in the rail transport sector would be advantageous but is not essential. Equally, you will have strong people skills and feel comfortable in managing all administration tasks associated with customer enquiries through to completion of contracts.
This role is mostly office based, but there will be some travel to customers in the UK.
